Dragon Age: Inquisition begins with the events at a peace conference between the warring mages and templars. An explosion wreaks havoc on the tentative plans, while causing the extinction of many members of the world’s ruling classes.

The Inquisitor emerges from the chaos, ostensibly being blasted from metaphysical realm the Fade. The game’s central character is given the power to fill the power vacuum, leading the Inquisition against invading demons, pouring through The Rift.

There’s an interesting undertone here of people in the world believing that you have been sent as a leader by the maker of the universe,” explained creative director Mike Laidlaw, in an interview with Polygon. “As a player, I have the option of saying, ‘Oh yeah, I’m the chosen one’ or asking what the hell they are talking about. It’s up to the player.”

The leaders of the Inquisition are shown, as well as some suggestion of that organization’s relationship with the Fade, in a scene reminiscent of Leonardo Da Vinci’s The Last Supper. As the Inquisition seeks to restore order, they rely on factors like military might, a spy network and trade networks, all of which the player has at their disposal.

Yes!! Finally, someone said it! God bless whoever made this!

okay, I’ll bite. first off, I encourage OP and anyone repeating “somebody finally said it” to go do some research on sociopaths. hans is a sociopath and thats been confirmed by the directors. any instance of him being all bubbly like anna was an act.
secondly, he doesn’t initially bring up anna needing to die because
1) elsa is the crown princess. she is the one inheriting, which is why he wanted to try to manipulate her at first but she doesn’t let people get close enough for him to even attempt that. so yes, for anna to be put on as the next Princess Regent (because I’m guessing in arendelle 18 is too young for her to rule, since elsa’s coronation happened at 21), elsa would have to be eliminated.
2) to legitimatize him as an official arendelle royal, he and anna would have had to consummate their marriage. she kind of has to be alive for that to happen lmfao. he wanted to be king, and he probably would have needed a queen and an heir at some point to continue being king.
any talk of hans being like “wow we are totes alike!!!!” was a look into his history and had to do with why he wanted to be King so bad, to prove himself to his siblings, great, but it was a way of mirroring anna’s behaviour and trying to get her to like him faster so he could rush them into marriage. had nothing to do with him seeing himself in her.
and yes, he realized it wasn’t going to work because he doesn’t love her and therefore reveals everything to her because he knows she’s going to die. hence locking her in the room and putting out the fireplace so she can’t get help and die faster.
hans stans are so tiring lmao give it a rest already
